of Newcastle since 1980. He has research interests in consumers' preferences
for quality and freshness attributes of foods, mail-order marketing of
regional speciality food, ethical food retailing communication of food
risk to the public and the supervision of research on the Greek olive
oil sector and the Portuguese meat sector.
